I must say, it is very satisfying to paint with bright, neon colors. Django is an immensely-skilled digital sculptor and illustrator with a unique and singular style. Django’s business name was “Dust Punk Miniatures” at the time this miniature was released. Since then, he’s changed his business name to Ludens28.

I remain honored that Django sculpted a set of brilliant Squid Gnome minis for Slug Wizard II – the physical set was available for a limited time and sold sets benefitted the Oceana charity. Painting neon Space Romans for Xth Wonder and spending time thinking about ancient spacefaring Romans discovering the origins of human life on the distant planet of Stygies IV has gotten my creative juices flowing. While thinning out my pile of minis, I found this guy and immediately wanted to shoehorn it into the Xth Wonderverse. I call this strange Stygian anomaly “Janua.” I hope you like it!
